JOHN BISHOP

After more than a decade of coaching soccer and teaching English, John decided to change direction and pursue his dream of building small wooden boats. He learned there were few quicker ways to the poorhouse and quickly jumped into repairs and restorations. Although he appreciates the simplicity and ruggedness of commercial workboats, he eagerly accepts just about any job that will provide a challenge or where he can improve his skillset. He also builds Greenland paddles, yacht tenders, dories, kayaks, SUPS and hopes to one day have the time to use them.
